Soulful Yoga with a Focus on Healing + Nervous System Support in Exeter, NH
Classes
Gentle + Meditation (Level 1)
A grounding class for healing, rest, and nervous system support. Gentle movement, restorative postures, and guided meditation help you reconnect with your body and breath. Most of the practice takes place on the floor, seated, reclined, or supported, with slow, mindful movement and occasional all-fours or standing poses to build strength and stability safely.
Students should be able to move to and from the floor, transition through all-fours, and navigate stairs independently. Ideal for those new to yoga, returning after time away, managing injury or balance concerns, or seeking a slower, nurturing practice that supports healing and calm
Slow Flow (Level 2)
Mindful movement that builds steadiness and strength. Slow Flow bridges gentle yoga and vinyasa-style movement, linking breath with slow, intentional transitions through standing and seated postures to cultivate balance, coordination, and confidence. It offers the benefits of flow without the pace or intensity of a traditional vinyasa class.
Students should be comfortable transitioning between the floor, all-fours, and standing positions. Ideal for those seeking a moderately active practice that remains slower and more accessible than a typical flow class.
Flow (Level 3)
A steady, breath-led practice that builds strength, focus, and energy. Flow is Sanctuary’s most active class, linking standing sequences, balance poses, and smooth transitions to develop strength, endurance, and inner stability, all with attention to breath, form, and safety.
Students should be familiar with basic to intermediate yoga postures, comfortable bearing weight through the hands, and able to move safely between floor and standing positions. Ideal for those seeking a mindful, strength-building practice that generates heat while remaining grounded and intentional.
